Tomasz Dalewski is postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of History of the University of Warsaw
Born in 1994. Bachelor’s degree in History and French studies at the University of Warsaw (2017); Master’s degree in Law at the University of Warsaw (2019) and in Medieval History at Université de Poitiers (2020). PhD in History at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (2025); dissertation title: Tyrans et tyrannie. Actualité d’un concept hérité en Francie occidentale (IXe-Xe siècle).
From 2021 to 2024 contractual doctoral researcher at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. Recipient of scholarships from the French government (2019–2020, Université de Poitiers), the Swiss government (2024–2025, Université de Genève), and from the CISAM Foundation (2022).
Research interests: ideology of power, political discourse and intellectual history in Carolingian and post-Carolingian Europe, medieval hagiography.
